A spawn hub introduces a world through movement. Its first job is to help a new arrival understand where they are and what they can do next.
Choose a clear arrival view
Place the main destinations where a player can notice them without immediately turning in several directions. Use a landmark to orient the space and give important routes recognisable names. Decorative detail should support those choices rather than conceal the signs.
Give paths different identities
A change in colour, silhouette or lighting can help distinguish routes. Do not rely on colour alone: add words or a distinct shape. Use consistent labels between a sign, a menu and the destination itself so players are not learning several names for the same thing.
Test with a newcomer
Ask someone unfamiliar with the build to find a destination without coaching. Observe the first turn they take and any place they stop. The test is about the layout, not the player's intelligence. One confusing junction is often more important than another decorative tower.
Check return routes
Players should be able to recognise how to return from a side area. Avoid routes that require a difficult jump merely to reach essential help or information. Consider different devices when choosing text size and interaction targets.
For a custom hub request, prepare the destinations, theme and expected player journey before asking for a quote.
