A player-slot limit is an admission setting. It does not, by itself, prove that a server will deliver a comfortable experience at that many simultaneous players.
Describe the actual workload
Start with the game edition, server software and intended activities. State whether the world is mostly established or whether players will explore new areas frequently. Include important plugins or mods, automation and any unusual world requirements. Avoid publishing private configuration while preparing the brief.
Separate community size from concurrency
A group can have many members but only a few online together. Give both figures where you know them, and identify which is measured and which is forecast. Describe the busiest expected session rather than assuming everyone plays at once.
Plan an observation period
Watch the experience during a representative session. Record symptoms and conditions before changing resources. More memory does not automatically resolve every client, network or server-side problem. A useful adjustment is tied to evidence about the limiting factor.
Build room for revision
Choose a plan with a clear explanation of what it includes and how changes are handled. If you need a custom arrangement, provide the workload and budget rather than asking for an unsupported player guarantee.
