A conduct report should help staff understand an incident while protecting the people involved. Public accusations can spread an incomplete account and make a fair review harder.
Record what you observed
Write down the relevant username, location or game area, approximate time and the specific behaviour. Describe actions rather than guessing motives. If you did not witness something yourself, make that clear instead of presenting it as a confirmed fact.
Keep evidence focused
A screenshot may show a message; a short clip may better show a sequence. Preserve enough context to explain the event. Do not publish private messages from unrelated conversations or personal details about the person you are reporting. Share evidence only when you are authorised to do so.
Do not escalate the incident
Avoid retaliation, baiting someone into another reaction or coordinating a group of identical reports. If you need to leave the situation, do so. Use the controls available to you and let staff review the evidence through the private channel.
Explain the requested help
Ask for the incident to be reviewed or for clarification about the applicable rule. Do not claim that submitting evidence guarantees a ban. Staff may need additional context before deciding what happened.
